Join us for a relaxing morning or arvo of hand building!

Your experienced tutor - Gohar Abraamyan - will introduce you to a variety of hand building techniques to design and create your own wares, including; pinching, coiling and slab rolling. You will be guided through the process of making shapes and forms that can be either sculptural or functional. Learn how to decorate the surface of your pieces using different methods such as carving, burnishing, stamping, applying slip and underglazing.

The theme of this session is "Bringing My Round Idea to Life." 

You can come with your own idea or use ideas already available in the studio. It could be a jewelry box, vase, candle holder, aroma lamp, or even a teapot. Or it could be a self-contained item that holds the impressions of the creation process. 

It is 2.5 hours of imagination and creativity. Use this workshop as a foundation to take on any projects in the future :)

This workshop includes clay, all tools & materials, instruction, and firing.
